b20 swap cv axles
I have a 95 Civic Coupe I bought already swapped with a b20b and vtec b16 head. It had some vibration since I bought it on acceleration but while I was on the highway today the vibration got much worse. If the engine was under the slightest load it would vibrate like crazy; so bad I pulled over on the highway to look at it. I'm thinking its the cv axles, the drivers side had a lot of up and down movement and would twist some. The passenger side wasn't nearly as bad. My question is how do I find out what axles I need? Will they be transmission specific? If so, how do I find out what transmission I have? Or does it sound like engine mounts?
The axles actually depend on what intermediate shaft was used. It is possible to use '90 - '93 Integra axles as well, but you need to use the '90 - '93 intermediate shaft and driver's side axle seal as well.
Chances are whoever did the swap used '94 - '01 axles though.

I’m having the same issue. I brought my 98 civic with a b20z2 motor out of a 99 car -v and the axles need replacement. The cr-v front hub and spindle were also swapped onto the civic. Because of the width of the cr-v I can’t use cr-v axels. So do I replace it with the cr-v axels or do I use axles from another car?
