i couldnt get mine out and the previous owner had stripped it so i had to use an air hammer to get it loose

 

you could just take the speedo sen. out and fill from there if you can get to it

 

Not a good idea... Unless you put in the correct amount you could overfill or under full the transmission.

Under Fill: Transmission runs hot and/or potential parts shatter/lock up and/or bearings get toasted.

Over Fill: Leaks, fluid cavitation/aeration causing same symptoms as above, ect...

Use a combination wrench with a cheater if you have to. There are other ways to fill it wrong, but why take the risk?

I usually remove charge piping to gain access from top side. 17mm ratchet wrench with closed end on trans fill plug. Then double up on it using the closed end of a 19mm wrench slipped through the open end of the 17mm wrench. Gives plenty of leverage to break the plug loose.

 

If u can get to the drain plug drain it and refill through speedo just put alittle over 2.0 quarts just to be safe ok .... But only do tht is all else fails
