The "D4" light on my 1992 Accord DX is on solid.

Transmission is stuck in 2nd gear when shifter is placed in "D3" or "D4". I can manually start in 1st gear then shift to 2nd, when I shift to 3rd it stays in 2nd.

I've been reviewing the following article and have pulled the fuse under the panel hoping to reset it. This suggestion did not reset the TCU.

I have a follow up.

I show the following two options for a TCU replacement
BWD - TCM431M
BWD - TCM472M

Are these units interchangeable with each other?

Or you could just fix the TCU.
