Default Sohc zc non vtec quick question

I have a 97 JDM teg with a sohc zc non vtec.
At the moment everything on this car is stock (except for a muffler just to make it sound better)
It's an automatic for now but i'm planning on putting in a manual tranny this weekend or the next.

My question is: how will this car with this engine pull stock with the manual tranny?

And how will it pull with i/h/e? (since this is what I am planning to do next)

All I can as is WTF!! The car is now less than stock since all tegs since 1990 have had a 1.8L DOHC B series motor, non Vtec ZC major down grade. Someone pulled the B out of it and kept it and put a D series/ZC in it to sell it as a running car.
With a weak single cam it will not pull for crap and will be very slow and IEH will not make much a difference. Get a B18B or a GSR motor back in the Teg.

Thats not true man> I know a lot of guys rolling tegs from the mid 90's and up with zc's or other d series in them.
I have a DC1 1997 teg. Non of the DC1 tegs came with 1.8L b series motor. If I am correct they all should have a zc in stock.
