Default crx with dohc zc swap

I'm having some weird noises coming from my zc..thought it was a bent valve at first but after checking compression and for the fact i have no lack in power..im ruling that out..there is a knock in the head..opened the valve cover and turned the car over by hand..everything is tight and spinning right....valve adjusted to spec was barely out of spec when i started....Noise is coming directly from the head..doesnt lose power or idle rough...anyone have maybe some advice or experience with something like that..i'll try to take a video tomorrow is possible...but any clues until then would be greatly appreciated.

Mine does the same thing man sounds like a clacking sound right? I believe its something near the camshafts. I used a stethoscope to pinpoint it better. Could possibly need cam bearings?

are you sure the valves are adjusted correctly? - the procedure for adjusting the DOHC ZC valves is not the same as adjusting SOHC valves

Check timing belt tension. Maybe the belt is slapping the cover.
