Default DC sport header

Ok, heres the deal. My friend bought a Dc header for his 94 Vtec, and it came with no gaskets, So he ordered some from Honda. The two gaskets that go on the downpipe to the manafold fit, but the gasket that goes at the end of the downpipe to the converter dont. The gasket is about 1/4 in to big, does not fit into the slot of the downpipe. The gasket that he got from honda is the right one. Now he dont know what to do. He says it cant be the right downpipe.
Has anyone else had a problem with this? Does DC use their own gaskets for their header? Something smells fishy about this header.
It is the right manifold (part #HHC 5009)

the gasket for the downpipe is bigger than the stock gasket. measure the ring size for the gasket and go to your local autoparts store and order a gasket.
