Default 1998 Accord EX V6 All-Season Tire Recommendations...?

Hi Guys. I’m looking for some tires recommendations. I need 4 new tires for a 1998 Accord 4dr EX V6 size 205/65R15.

I believe that the original OEM recommend speed rating is V.

The local shop that has a sale this weekend offers only the following brands:

BFGoodrich
Cooper
General
Goodyear
Kumho
Uniroyal

I can basically order any tire model any of these brands offer. My driving style is normal and very average, mostly highways. I live in the upper Midwest and we can have long winters with a lot of snow and ice. I’d like to try to keep one year round set for the car for both summer and winter so what do you more experienced guys recommend for a good all-season tire? If I look at H and/or T speed ratings it really gives me much more to choose from than just the V rating options.

Thanks!

This is the wrong thread to post this in but BFGoodrich makes good all season tires and so does Toyo. I'd look into them, check reviews on the tire you consider buying with Google. People will say how they feel about them. Honestly, if you don't have a hook up at discount tire, then go to tire rack, get the price, then make discount under cut them. tirerack.com, put in your year make and model, look for all season tires in your price range, print out the quote, take it to Discount Tire, have a .

I have owned 3 accords and the best tire I have used is the michelin MXV4. It can be a little costly, but the tire weight / balance / road noise / tread wear etc. are awesome.

In fact, every car I have put them on the wheel weights were reduced drastically due to the tires being very true from the manufacturer. They make different speed ratings for the MXV4, you can get the lower speed rating at Sam's club for 127.00 a piece as long as you plan on staying under 130 mph.

Thanks guys. Are those MXV4's good in the snow? I think I'm down to General Altimax HP's, Michelin MXV4's, or BFGoodrich Advantage T/A's. Any input between these?
