"1990 Honda prelude si 2.0? It has a stock b20a5
engine so it's nice and quick. It has 128k on engine and body. Its pretty much
stock besides the exhaust."

Is this a good trade for my ef hatch w/ a d15b1 mostly stock, mpi, aftermarket exhaust system.

If you like the prelude then def. If you are looking to stay with something that's easily modded, then stay with the civic. Although there is some aftermarket for the 3rd gen preludes, it's very small. I'd swap in a heartbeat, i love those preludes. Is it a 4WS car?

I'd swap.I'm on my 4th EF but just picked up a 89 Si 4WS a couple days ago and love it.Typical 3rd gen problems are speedometer doesn't work, rear sway bar end links are weak and break, and power steering line leaks, not to mention the typical Honda rot above the rear wheels. If its a 5 speed go for it,mines an auto but I couldn't pass it up for what I picked it up for.Good luck and post pics if you get it !

I am biases since I have owne three of them over the past 12 years. So I say yes.

And if you do the trade you will need to come over to the only place that will help you understand what you have aquired and learn how to mod it or keep it OEM or swap the H22/23 or F20b/22/23 motors into it.

Like so:

Theres a little more work to put in, but nothing good every comes easy.

Here is the site: p r e l u d e p o w e r.com(no spaces due to HT blocking)

That's a beautiful prelude. All it needs is a 4WS swap. Why haven't you gotten it yet?

I have been thinking about it for a few days.
The more I look at it the more I like it.

Only cons for me is I really enjoy the compactness of an ef.
also theres a good difference in the mpg..

Yep that looks to be a good chassis, if you dont jump on it, I can promise you that I will let the nearest 3rd genners in your area know, and they will more than likely swoop it up with a quickness.
In the 3rd gen community, there are many that own more than 2-3 ludes at a time.

And never mind gas mileage, you dont get a sport car for that.

Oh wait, its in my area...
