Perhaps he wants the front plate to tilt down when he's flexing his mAd dRifTinG $kiLlZ.

If that's what you want to know, I dunno; ask someone from Japan

jesus man dont cry!

they do it in japan for highway driving i guess they mount the front plate in the hole in the front bumper(on the ge it would be in the large middle hole)on hinges. then when your driving at normal speeds 30-50 mph the plate is standing up and cops can see it. then when you reach higher speeds the plate will lay down with the force of the air being pushed onit and the air will hold it down then when you slow down the plate will pop back up again for normal driving speeds.

you never heard of this? its been around for a while i guess you can change the rate of the spring in the hinge to make it go down easy or hard.
i think its a pretty neat idea

i dont *** drag im just asking a question if you guys have done it or seen it done and what do u think of it?

i think its neat

It would seem to me that you anwsered your own question above. Mount the license plate to pair of spring loaded latches (Home Depot ) and then mount this to your bumper. The only problem I forsee is getting the plate low enough that it will pivot- which may require you to drill your bumper

Edit- I'm one of the ******** of h-t now huh? Makes me feel proud

I thought they also did it for those Radar-Camera speed trap thingys they have, but I agree, kind of a mod for the sake of a mod more than any real useful upgrade. Then again, you could say the same thing of everyone who bought a Spoon shift ****, etc........

They also sell a product called California Number which is a plate cover that when a photo radar flashes the plates appears black in the pix.

If you put the plate on hinges you will get a ticket.
If you put ANYTHING over your plates you are subject to a ticket as well.
