I purchased a used carsound cat, which originally came from IPS racing. I purchased it because it was a cheap way to run my stock exhaust with the 4-1 header that I ordered (DC SS). The number on the cat it 94000...Has anyone used this one before?? It has one O2 sensor hookup at the back of the cat on the exhaust side, it seems to be the correct length...Does anyone know what the length has to be to work with the dc header? The dc header has a hookup for an o2 sensor correct..so my cat only needs one (01 ITR's).

My carsound was #94066. One of the two o2 bungs was bolted shut, the back bung was open for the secondary o2 sensor. This cat is shorter than the stock cat because the jdm header is longer. What do you have? jdm dc or not? If you do not have the jdm dc, then you need the regular length cat.... I'd just contact Mike M or SMSP for help.

 

my dc jdm 4-1, carsounds cat, apexi n1 rattled once i installed the header and cat.
pushed the exhuast out about an inch....

HAD the same setup.......had it on my gsr. I kept the carsounds cat and 4-1 for the itr though
