I've loved Hondas since i was a little kid riding around in some of the early '90s civics! But my favorite breed to date has definitely been the CRX! Just curious what everyones favorite thing about the CRX or what they find the most intresting!

So we will start with mine :D

I love the little dot matrix window on the hatch! Its function and style that Honda really pushed for during this generation of auto manufacturing.

well, its old school, looks pretty fresh, super lightweight, and NO OTHER CAR stand a chance in heavy traffic racing... not that I condone it... but you can zip around the roads in that!

 

I love the go kart feeling a crx gives you. i mean, i get that same feeling in both my hatch and sedan as well, but the crx i owned was like a space shuttle, loved that thing

 

One comfy *** Go-Kart! I don't feel cramped either!

 

The shape.. It's just sleek and sexy.. They look fast standing stoll

 

i can only imagine a good condition one, mine was beat to death, wrecked 4 times, blown hg... i bought it just for parts but still drove it home with a cheezy grin the whole way haha

 

I love the look on peoples face when I pull up next to them at a light or the highway. Everyone seems to look and smile. Occasionally I get a thumbs up and wave. My boss's wife keeps trying to buy mine from me

 

Because CRX

 

Small on the outside, big on the inside. That's a hard combination to get, especially now, with all of the big cars with tiny windows and dashes that completely surround you.

Of course, all of the aftermarket suppport and reliability aren't bad, either.

 

Well to keep this thread technical, I'll say my favorite thing is the sheer size of it. It's like driving David vs Goliath everyday.
Just over 90" wheelbase, stock roof height of 50". So most lowered cars are under 4 feet tall! Low center of gravity and independent suspension make it great in the bends. I love how so many parts from different cars bolt right on.
Basically, I can't pick one thing! I will say my least favorite thing is that honda is discontinuing so many parts for it...

zrickity couldn't agree more about them discontinuing parts. All of us would restore them if it was as easy as saving up to buy the parts. Some stuff shouldn't be discontinued such as door seals maybe everyone on here should write to them.

 

I agree with all the above posts. Aside from the look on folks faces as I smoke through 3rd gear I really enjoy the availability and affordability of aftermarket parts.

 

crx's are great to drive in the city, i can park and get through anywhere. also, i like to open it up a little bit and set off car alarms of parked cars with my exhaust

i've accidentally done it twice now. lol

x2, this is the number one thing for me!!!

 

I love the fact that when a CRX breaks down, I can just pick it up and put it in my pocket, and then walk home instead.
