Noob needs help with 91 Civic sedan build.
Hey guys im new to this forum and working on cars. I have little to no knowledge, but i have been doing lots of research lately.
So basically im here to get a few opinions and help from others who have the knowledge and experiance. The other month i recieved a 1991 Honda Civic sedan for free. D15b2, has 200,180 miles on it. So i was looking into either doing an engine swap or doing a "mini-me" swap. I can get a z6 head for 100 but it needs a solenoid and 2 sensors. Before i sink in loads of money to do this i was wondering if it would even be worth it since the car has so many miles. I was thinking about getting a rebuild kit for the D15b2 and rebuild it before i get the z6 head.
This car is gonna be my Daily Driver so nothing too crazy. This is what i was thinking of doing.
-D15B2 with z6 head
-New Manifold
-Turbo kit
-Swap to MPFI/obd1
Like i said i dont know much about cars and this will be a learning experience for me. Any help or opinions are greatly appreciated.

best advice is just seach seach search and look at everyones build threads . theres lots of useful information on this website.
and as for your motor . do a leak down test before thinking of the new head .
and you can forget that turbo kit .. turbo's take money to be done right ..

You can rebuild your stock motor and make it a mini me, or you can just buy a complete Z6 from a well known shop, with lower miles. It's been awhile since I looked at jdm motors so I'm not sure what they go for nowadays
