rocker panels?
i was just wondering if anyone knows a place you can order replacement rocker panels for civics? i have a 92 cx and the rockers are pretty much gone........ so's the quarters i found a place that sells the quarter panels for 40 a piece and their catalog shows rockers but says na right next to it so im just wondering if anyone knows where to buy rocker panels or if i have to get sheet metal and make my own..... thanks
If its really that bad then buy a new car and swap your parts. I fixed some small rust spots that turned into massive rust holes. So if yours looks bad its probably frame damage. Show us some pics.
I purchased mine from www.rustrepair.com
I can be a pain to replace and there always seems to be more rust than planned.

i tried to fix rusty rocks on a 98 VW jetta. the replacement rockers do not fit 100% (unless they are factory direct). furthermore if it is rusty at the weld seam, you have to add metal.
It ends up being a big job. With my situation, you could buy a rust free car from certain parts of the country and drive it home. Swapping your motor and things over will be WAY less labor. I dont think rust repair is "fun" like other car projects, and cutting time in the job is the most important thing to me.
