I used to have pics of the R brand new on the lot, and I seem to have lost them, anyone have them? it was a picture of 3 R's sitting on a dealer lot from 2000-2001, I believe two black R's and one phoenix yellow one. Anyone have any other old pics like that?

i was going to come in here to say that. i took some shots like that too back in the day, but i have no idea where they are now though.

 

I didn't take those pics. Being in a remote place during that time I didn't get to see any new ones.

ehh.. would be cool in the sense that it's an R. but what REALLY makes them cool is the fact they are so rare. if they were all over the place and every Joe-Shmoe had one, it'd be like seeing an EG rolling down the road..

LOL same here! Reminds me of my high school days....back in 2001.

 

I remember checking a py on the lot brand new circa 2000. Of course the dealer had it marked up to 26,500. Would I pay that much now for a new r? In a second.

I've been looking for some for a real long time. I remember walking into gold coast Acura Ventura and they had a brand new 01 black and a 01 yellow in the showroom wish I would of taken pics back then. They also told me they had 3 blacks in the back lot with the factory wrapping. Was ready to buy but 5,000 mark up killed it. Oh well

 

I remember yoshi took some pics of a brand new R still on a car carrier. But couldn't find them. Lucky R also told me he had some of his car in the show room but couldn't find them

I don't doubt private collectors have some tucked away. Like the guy that put up a 91 crx si with 200 miles on it for 18,000 dollars on ebay not too long ago. They exist. They are just hiding collecting dust in someones garage.
