Default 1991 civic hatchback seatbelt light problems?

I did some searching earlier, didn't see my exact problem listed. I just picked up a 1991 civic hatchback std for a daily driver... When you put the key in the ignition and start it the red light on the cluster with the door and seatbelt comes on instantly. Once I start moving the other seatbelt light underneath the first one starts flashing and continues. The buzzer on the headliner does not flash beep or anything , the housing is broke not sure if that even works.... So I checked the horn fuse under the hood, it is fine. I looked under the driver seat it is unplugged because the end on the female end of the buckle is gone/missing. I then unplugged the passenger side, and still all lights on cluster are on. Anyone have any ideas on what to try next? Thank you

Take it to Honda, Just had my seatbelt replaced in my 92 gsr. They warranty them for life, diag and all. Just bring it in and tell them it's broken. Worked for mee and alot of others.

I am just not sure if that will fix my problem. I would like to think it could be the seatbelts themselves.... but I would like to be sure before taking it to them because if it is something else I don't want to pay them to fix it when we can if I knew what was wrong

The seatbelt light on the cluster stays on until you put your seatbelt on. If the connectors under the seat arent hooked up then the cluster light will always stay on!

Thank YOU my91tealhb !!!!
So if the wires/plug on the female end are gone, then the light will always be on correct?

Correct, the female plug is on the seatbelt the male plug comes from the chassis harness. If they arent connected the cluster lights will always be on. If they are connected and you buckle you seatbelt the lights should go off.

The seats I have to put in it are 94 integra ls seats. The driver side female end has the wiring to hook to the body harness... The passenger side doesn't have the sensor on these seats so hopefully it works
