Howdy
Hey, I'm new here. I recently purchased an EF from a friend, and thought this would be a great place to learn some things.

That's what it looked like before he slid into a parked car on a snowy night. The whole vinyl sticker, 5" exhaust and monster truck rims aren't really my style so I took to them immediately, lol.

The night I got it. Shitty cellphone pic. I ended up getting the car for 900 with the rims and a new clutch. Sold the rims a week later for $500
So as I said, I'm not the vinyl type... So:

They came off nice, a bit of residue, but I cleaned it up after.
So, I sat with the car in the garage pretty much all winter; thinking of what direction I wanted to go with it.

I decided on a D16Z6 Swap, which will be followed by a turbo setup. I haven't actually sourced out an engine because I live pretty far north in ontario, so unless you drive some sort of muscle car "ye aint got ****"...
The garage wasn't heated, and this winter decided to be unreasonably cold so not much progress was completed. This past week has been crazy nice, so I've been working on the EF every day.
So far I've done:

Stripped the interior (old carpet was rotten out) Floor is solid though.
Installed some cusco coilovers I got off a buddy. (Front and rear)

Removed the exhaust. Anyone want it? :D lol.

Finally some real progress. Ripped my very first engine out.

How it sits now, heartless.

I did some cleaning, and this stuff worked great... Should have worn gloves though, my fingers are all messed up right now.

Barbeque degreaser ftw?

And today, I cleaned it up a bit. This is how it sits... going to be installing the OEM red taillights sometime this week, and get rid of this hideous "smoked LED" ones from ebay. LOL
Anyways, sorry for the long post.. I thought some people might enjoy some good ol' fashioned de-ricing.
