I'm Aral, 20 years old and currently a Law student.

Honda Integra Type-R EUDM 1998 (DC2)
The first 'fase' of my project is done.
I bought the teggie all riced out and straight out of a F&F movie, see for yourself...

I managed to drive like that for about 2 weeks// :tomato:
I had to drive to the UK to source the parts I needed.
Result:


In the meanwhile I noticed that she had quite the apetite for the good ol' black liquid, so I brought her to the best garage of the Netherlands, Hondagarage.nl where she received some TLC

The end was near, just a few details left..



I'm quite pleased with the outcome, however the engine/under carriage deserved a complete overhaul aswell so that's the next step.
My goal is to turn the teggie into a fun track car with ± 250bhp.
I don't want it to be a hardcore trackslut as I'm still a student and will be semi-dailying this :lol:

11-02-'12
Received the essential Vibrant parts for my new custom exhaust line;


New flywheel and adjustable camgears

Received some Innovative Mounts (85a)

And started sanding/prepping the enginebay;

First coat of primer is on;

Picked up the engine, it was at the workshop for some preventive repairs and upgrades.


Everything is cleaned and built again from scratch, the block is literally like (if not really) new.
The head has been flowed, stage 3 and we've added some other goodies which I'll mention in other posts.
The wiring was also a pain in the ***, so we took it apart; removed all the unnecessary bits; extended some others to keep them out of view and rewrapped them.

All the gaskets and bits are in, thanks to Hondagarage.nl!

Intake is complete now, mounted all the bits and bobs & portmatched the TB.

As mentioned earlier, we've started reassembling the block;






I actually wanted to wait for the engine to get it's new colour and everything was put back but I couldn't keep these pics from you guys;


Engine is assembled aswell, we're just waiting for the new clutch to arrive

Engine is ready to go :D , need to spray some small bits tho.

@Deetz; The cams I wanted couldn't be here on time so the Edelbrocks are temporary, they were pretty cheap and the figures weren't that bad so I thought why not
Deadline is the 1st of April, as I'm competing in the Dutch Time-Attack then.
It's going to be a close one, we should be able to put the engine in this week and slap a base map on there to break 'er in.
On another note, the clutch I wanted wasn't in stock anywhere so I was forced to get an overkill clutch. ACT 6-puck Extreme, better safe then sorry right?
