i just wanted to solve the annoying random beeping problem associated with the door being open or ajar, and since i tried all the other things, i wanted to solve it by just eliminating the source that makes the sound in the first place, and open the integrated control unit, and disconnect or take the speaker off of it.
before doing this, i wanted to first see people's opinions, and if it should work ok doing that or if theres something i should be aware of ? etc . . .
could i just snip the wires going to the little speaker inside the integrated control unit ???
or can i mess some other stuff up doing this ?
i did'nt want to disconnect the wires from the door triggers cause i heard that also makes it so the dome light does'nt work when opening or closing the doors, and my doors fit good to the body and are adjusted good, and i jammed screws in to prevent the door triggers from moving back and forth and it got rid of some beeping but not all of it, cause i still hear it hitting bumps here and there, so this is the only thing left i can think of to try
any info about doing this would help, thanks

its the beeping for the door ajar, i already unplugged the one for the seatbelt which was under the rearview mirror.
i just want to know if it would work if i opened the integrated control unit up and clipped the wire to the speaker in there or removed the speaker from it ?

nobody knows if i can disable the speaker that makes the beeping sound for the door ajar/ door open ??? by removing speaker or cutting the wires to it ???
i already know the speaker is inside the integrated control unit box which is behind fusebox, but i just wanted to see people's thoughts if it would work and make sound go away? before doing any of it,
plus i wanted to know if it would mess anything up or not also?

EFnCRX, thats a good idea actually, just in case i need to revert back to how it was after doing anything to it. so i'll keep that in mind
i guess theres no reason to wait for more replies, i just need to do it and find out myself if it solves it or not, as long as i'm carefull.
