Default integra b18c1 swap question

So I took my integra ls b18b1 to the shop and had them tell me why it seemed to run a bit odd. they said my engine is running on under 60psi per cyl and since its consistent didnt realise how bad it actually was. So their telling me to get a new engine, i want to go with the b18c1 integra gsr engine and was woundering what do i need to do for a swap? do I only need the engine and the gsr ecu? or is there other things i need ?

whoa whoa whoa. hold on now. so those numbers in your other thread were accurate?
first thing you wanna do is check that your mechanical timing is correct. for all the cylinders to be equally that low, chances are that's your problem. the motor may be fine
check that first

timing is correct, they did a full work up and have no explaination of why its so low, its a 1997 ls model, it couldnt hurt to just upgrade to a gsr engine anyway, even if they found the problem, right?

well, obviously it's gonna cost money to buy a b18c and slam it in.
and you're absolutely sure timing was checked? because a lot of shops will tend to choose the more lucrative job if given a possibility of the choice.
it's just very strange for all cylinders to be running equally very low
if you're 100% sure timing was checked, i'd have them run a leak down test. then at least you can get an idea of what it would cost to fix and compare it to swapping in a b18c.
because without knowing the problem, you can't say whether it's worth it
