94 Civic vx - what parts are needed to rebuild my D15b vtec-e engine?
Sure, Google can.
How much of a rebuild are you talking? If you're going all out and want to do it all yourself, you'll need a shitload of tools, as well as the parts to replace, well, everything except the bare block and bare head, assuming you haven't destroyed them.

Personally...Id just order a jdm motor. Ive done the numbers again and again. Even with a mild rebuild, cost of parts/tools/labor will still be double what your paying for a low mile jdm swap. Part kits alone are going to be at least 3-400. Then machine shop charges 65 to check/clean the head. If its perfect your out for 65, if they have to do any work, price goes up. Any tools, price goes up. Then all the time involved in tear down/re-assembly, etc etc
Only scenario worth it is if you work at a machine shop and have access to tools etc. Any other case, just buy a jdm swap, and call it a day. Then you also have spare parts incase of any problems/issues down the line.

Yeah what is the issue with it? Need rings? You can easily source a good d15/16 block locally if it's just rings and have the head redone. The problem with a JDM engine is your not going to find a D15Z1 readily available from an importer.
