Default 98 JDM ITR Cluster HELP!

got a 98 jdm itr cluster for my 95 usdm gsr. the fuel gauge isnt working when my seat belt is buckled on. but when it isnt buckled on the fuel gauge does work 100%! HELP i was told theres a way to fix this by a few mods. cnt find the thread for it. thanks in advance!

Unplug the electrical connector from the belt receptacle (the inboard part).

The seat belt light will be on all the time after that, but at least the fuel gauge will work. If you want a more permanent fix, you'd better spend a few dollars at Techinfo for wiring diagrams.

your talking about the plug under the seat?

unhook the wire under the seat and take out the seat belt bulb from behind the guage cluster. not the perfect solution but its free and quick.

its all good now folks! switched out my old cluster film frm the back of the cluster to the jdm one aand it works perfectly fine.. for now? lol. the open doors light and the seat belt light on the cluster is switched but i just took out the bulbs. the fuel gauge is working tho!
