ls tranny 4.40 final (how to I.D?)
i opened a ls tranny from a client (he bougth it like ls) but for surprise it have
66/15=4.40 final. Now the only way i know to i.d it's by ****ing the theets.
He want to put a LSD but i need to know what tranny is first.

count 4th and 5th gear or if you need to know, count every gear

cause i live in P.R. i recive your answer late and i have the tranny on the car make a few crusing tests 60mph @ 3k rpm constanstly. This sound good for what i read for a gsr tranny or the 4.40 final drive affect the speed/rpm in a
ls.

90-91 Cable LS has 4.40 FD, same diff as JDM B16 and later LS diffs.
