Bad news
So i sold my R a year and some change ago, totally clean, no mods, original owner bla bla, cleanest one you could find at the time i sold it...anyways it was stolen from the new owner a few months ago, totally stripped and engine found in an impounded civic or something...
Its a shame, a clean example of a R gone...but at the end thats why i sold it, i couldnt stand the threat of theft...

That blows! It's a shame that even after 15 years (timeline based when the 97 Type R was introduced) we still have to keep a hawk eye on our vehicles due to the theft threat. Sad to hear about the loss!
With great power comes great responsibility. Can't tell you how often I see these threads about stolen cars, but no one did anything to really protect their investments.

My believe - for a lot longer! Thinking about it - pretty competitive from the factory, easy to modify, readily available parts, big aftermarket support, a vast number of parts interchangeable between different models/years, it's a piece of history, and you can drop a newer (K-series) engine without too much hassle thus allowing you to keep the vehicle realiably in service for longer. What are the cons to this vehicle? Not many! Thumbs up for the vehicle itself...thumbs down for the worries!!
Add two cars blocking the driveway, the Club, and an Autolock to the above and even then it's not enough.

Just checked Glock to make sure the clip was full.
I shudder to even think that.
