maybe africanized killer ones with 16" wings while grasping onto hitting 10" subs

My brother has a Racing medallion on his 92 prelude. (his name is PreIude SI on this board). It has got to be the nicest sounding exhaust i have ever heard. It's deep, and low. When you step on the gas it just gets louder... still has deep droan but no buzzing, hissing, whining, or growling.... just a nice, mean exhaust.

However, this could be do to the fact that he has an h23, vs our pissy little b18s

What are you on crack? The Racing Medalion normally accelerating is just as loud as an EVO at WOT. IMO it's unbearably loud, inside and outside the car. It's buzzy as hell, and sounds like **** after 4500rpms. The EVO doesn't sound that good either, sounds like a giant fart can...no wonder people make fun of our exhausts sometimes...

For people saying it's loud, I presume this is without the silencer? What about with the silencer?

I put my racing medallion on this week and I think it sounds great. It is loud but not as loud as I though it would be. Inside the car its really a loud deep tone but outside the car its loud and deep but at the end you can hear the WOT. It should sound alot better when I get my intake, right now i just have the cover off my intake and its loud. With the silencer i think it sounds like crap, you could take off your stock muffler and thats how it sounds. I dont think the racing medallion is al lthat ugly compared to most mufflers out their im just not a fan of the really big holes. I like the apexi world exhaust though my friend just got it on his XR cougar and it sounds sweet.

another friend has a Tanabe Racing Medallion and its pretty deep.. nice tone.. some might think its loud.. it sounds nice and deep..

the G-power Medallion is also deep and throaty...

haha... i just had a meet with 5 or 6 other tegs up at desert ridge on tatum and 101. pretty fun.

Medallion is a better buy than an n1 i think. n1 has a more "angry" sound... more grumbeley, but not buzzy at all. Racing medallion is more smooth tone. I'll see if i can dig up some videos of my brother's prelude going through the powerband. It sounds outstanding with his [ghetto] intake I'd take his racing medallion over my greddy evolution any day. But then again mine is fucked up and buzzes/rattles/eats crap... im gonna stick an n1 muffler on the greddy piping. Just incase you want to know that

I have the racing medallion and it had a deep sound, with the stock header.
When i installed my after-market header the sound went from deep to a
high pitch sound like every hears (bees buzzing).
I think the high noise from all the muffler is due to the header.

It's loud and with a test pipe it's louder. I'm sure the turbo won't make it any better but I have no problem with it other than it draws a lot of attention.
