OT: Trying to get the 2000 A/C to work on my 1997 R
Has anyone of you done this before? I've got all the physical components put in no problem...however, the "fuse box" on my car is completely different. I'm assuming this is because mine is a 97.
Is there anyway to still get the A/C to work? Without changing the fuse box, can you still get all the relays wired up? If not, will changing the fust box solve this problem?
Thanx guys.
C-Mugen R: who's glad its gold in SB these couple days.

I've never heard of this problem before... Are you saying that the relays don't fit in your fuse box? Wouldn't it be cheaper to get the relays that fit in your box then to get a whole new fuse box? There is probably some way to wire it up, but you would need a competent electrician.
I've got a 97 w/air, and I find it odd they'd need to change the fuse box.
Don't suppose you've got the appropriate Helms manual as a reference!?

I'm trying to put a A/C system off a 2000 R to my 97 R. As you all know, Acura did some minor changes after 98.
I've spoke to Acura service guy, he said it is different and suggested me calling Acura of US to find out exactly what I need to do.
I'm looking into this problem myself too, but just thought I asked and see if any one on the board has experienced this before.

There may be some differences... If its like a 1994, then the diode goes under the dash, instead of under the hood... IM me if you need more help.
