Default 98 Civic CX B16A BAR'd $5000

Once again, I'm going to be sending a blanket text to everyone who has made an offer. I'm not holding it for anyone. Thanks again to everyone that "bumped" the thread and complemented on the car.

I've final decided to sell my 98 Civic CX. I am the second owner (first owner was my best friend). I was there the day it was brought home from the dealership. Car is already smogged. Just take the title to the DMV and have them put it in your name.

Thanks! I didnt paint the outside of the car but i did paint the engine bay and do the swap myself. Took about 3 weeks to tear everything out, paint it, and get it all together.

It wasn't easy. I had it smogged 12 times at the BAR station at Chaffey College. I replaced all sorts of different things and it still wouldn't pass. Then i moved down to San Diego and took it to the BAR station at Mesa College and I got a completely different reading than that at Chaffey. I ended up putting on my GSR header and cat combination (a setup I had run on the second try and failed at Chaffey) and it passed there. It took me over a year to get it all done.

I have the Skunk 2 Camber kit up front and rear with Weapon R coilovers on tokico blues. (Always wanted to make the move to a full coilover system just never got around to it.)

How good of a paint job? Any areas you can tell it's after market besides the obvious color? Just curious.

It was originally silver. You can only tell if you start taking off interior parts. It was painted about 10 yrs ago. So I'd say it looks very clean for 10 yrs and so it couldn't have been too bad. I know its single stage acrylic enamel paint. And that the color is 94-95 Mustang Yellow.
