ok heres my situation. i have a jdm b16a(2nd GEN) in my 2000 civic dx hatchback, anyways ive spent countless hours reading retaining powersteering faq for ek. i have the powersteering line still hooked up and what now , i have a upper p30 bracket for the PS pump( no idea if its the DEL SOL VTEC) and it wont line up, the previous car that this motor was in was 1996-1998 civic SI (not original motor for this car,owner did a swap. then i bought off him) and it did work in that car why not mine? was the upper p30 mount different for 1999-2000 PS pumps?

 

Well, there was no 96-98 SI unless you live in Canada, so that might be part of your problem. If you are Canadian, then the 96-98 SI is what the rest of the world calls the EX.

weird tho, my brothers car is a 1999 civic si, originally came with a d16y8, put a 95 gsr and still has powersteering, he didnt have to change the pump or any lines to b series from d series. he just got the brackets and everything worked for him not for me , anyone know what brackets i would have to use? also, i have already read the two posts above, didnt help me. pease someone must know...

 

Im pretty sure B series and D-series PS brackets are interchangeable. As for AC you prolly want to look into a 99-00 SiR bracket.
