i took apart the trunk release motor assembly thinking its the lil clutch thing that was a common problem but it is intact and so is everything else.

tested ground and 12v both are good.
tested the motor from a 12v battery and it doesnt turn very much.

the motor turns untill theres resistance in the clutch and stops.
if i pull the gears out it spins but very easy to stop...

is there a replacement motor for that trunk release assembly i can buy?

 

What year is the Teg, I have the compete system that I pulled out of a 2000 Integra thinking I could install it on my 94, but turned out it was going to be too much of a PITA to do, you can buy the actuator, $100+ from the dealer, much less at a PicknPull. 94
