D16z6 into ef fuel system wiring
Hey I put a z6 into my ef hatch n ran into some issues going to obd1 with a garbage jumper harness... long short I rigged it to the best of my abilitys n got it running for the winter. its been running way rich now and with the winter leaving its time to start messing with it again. My injectors have a constant 12v off the key and are grounded to the ecu - is this correct?? I mean its been running lol just seemed odd. Where in the ecu can i run that power from?? Also I'm having issues with the 4 wire O2 sensor . It's a Bosch with 2greys a black n a white ... Any help is appreciated
No real questions or problems stated, so I will answer the only one that was sort of asked.
The injectors are pulsed through the ECU grounding them...

lol my bad posted this while kinda tired ... i just wanna run the power to the injectors off the ecu where its supposed to be. i know the colored wires from the injectors are run back to like A1,3,5,7 in the ecu to be grounded. The yellow i have just run to a wire with 12v off the key... what pin is the injector power source? and is it in fact a constant 12v like ive been running? thanks again
Here we go with super in depth.... cuz I'm bored at the moment.
(ECU Pin references are as stock as if you were using the OBD0 ECU)
When you turn the key to Ign 1, pin 5 on the main relay gets power.
This energizes the coil between pin 5 and pin 2. That magnetically closes the switch between 1 and 3.
If you notice, 1 is battery.
So at that point 3 is getting battery power.
It sends the power off to A 13 and A15
(I have no idea what A13 and A15 need power for.)
Additionally, that yellow/black wire that feeds A13 and A15 also branches off to power the injectors and the EACV.
Follow the lines on this image - start at the injectors A1, A3, A5, A7 and follow the lines
