Icon6 1998 accord h23a1 bluetop auto trans shifting issue

I am working on a 1998 accord. we got a jdm h23a1 motor and trans and pcb n51 ecu to install. the wiring harness that came with the motor/trans was chopped off near the ecu plugs, the ones that hook up to the car, so I am trying to use the 98 accord harness, with mixed results. I can shift into d4 and it'll go but when i gets to 2nd it shudders to a stop, and wont go. i noticed on the jdm trans there are two sensors that have three wire hookups, but the us version has only two wires. the extra wires on the jdm sensors go to vcc1 and vcc2, yellow/red, and yellow/ blue. Should/can I integrate those into my 98 harness? Also I have traced the trans sennsor wires from my jdm harness to the ecu plugs, and the trans sensors seem to come out at the same spot on the plug. Am I barking up the wrong tree?? This motor really raps out and I would love to take this for a test drive.

as a footnote, I did have to chnge a pin location on the 'a' plug to get the fuel pump to come on. 'a15' to a16 I believe.

I am thinking Maybe I can compare the two computer pinouts? Is this what to do when swapping motors? Seems like a lot of splicing around. Any ideas fine patrons of Honda Tech?

Thanks for all your help!! I figured it out. So if your mother in law, or whoever is lame enough to want an auto, just ask and I shall reveal my secrets. But seriously, I could not have done it without you, Honda-Tech!! PHHHHHHT!

I retract my previous statement about the whole mother in law thing. this little car is quite quick. auto trans or no, I like it. I do question the reliability of this trans but meh.. what ev.

ps: this is beginning to seem like a real one sided conversation.
