white smoke from exhaust help!!!
I have a 94gsr. since I bought the car it burns a lot of oil, white smoke comes out from the exhaust. The idle also messes up. when I turn on the car the idle drops. I have to accelerate till the car warms up. then it stays leveled but when I get to a stop, it drops and then rises steady. there are times when I get to a stop that the idle just drops and stay low like it wants to turn off.
I'm not sure what it is. if you guys want more info let me know. any help would be appretiate.
thanks in advance

Man, sounds like it's a head gasket. Do a leakdown, take the cap off the radiator and look for bubbles and oil, also, check your dipstick to look for coolant in the oil (milky looking) and look under your oil cap.

so i did the compression test. from left to right i got the numbers 190,185,200,185.
what does that mean? i bought new spark plugs also because they were burn

The numbers from the compression test indicate how tightly the head gasket, valves and the piston rings are holding in the compression that the piston is trying to create. If you had a strange reading like 160, 90, 90, 160 that would indicate that theres a really good chance that the head gasket blew inbetween cylinders 2 and 3. If you have low readings like 90 all the way across that would indicate that your piston rings or valves are letting compression seep by and if your piston rings are bad you can burn oil. How many miles are on the motor? if you have good compression but are still burning oil that could mean that the valve guide seals are bad and your engine is breathing in oil from around the valves and burning it off.
Like it was mentioned earlier, look for a shiny film in your coolant to indicate that oil and combustion gasses are getting into the cooling system. Also check for the mikshake in the oil because oil and water mixing together will make a milky white film that pretty much coats everything from the underside of the valve cover to the underside of the oil cap.
