Default Mig regulator freezing

Last night while welding up some exhaust pipe I noticed my regulator froze over. Well it had frost on it. I'm in east Texas and the weather was not cold or really even cool last night. (75• F or so) the gas coverage went to crap when I noticed. Setup is 75/25 argon co2 mix with a hobart 140. I would say I was welding for about 40-45 mins. Another point I should make is the gas cut off solenoid is sticking on my welder causing the gas to keep flowing after trigger is released. I plan on fixing that ASAP. Could the continuous gas flow cause this?

Got in touch with my LWS and they are ordering my contractor switch. They said this is what is sticking causing the gas to flow continuously.

Hey make sure your shielding gas is dissolved form. I forget what its called but I had the same problem. Changed my bottle and the freezing stopped.

You may have the right gas but in the wrong form. It works for a bit then frozen regulator and no more coverage

This can also happen if your any of your fittings aren't tight on the regulator
