Default New Tires recommendation ?

My 2007 Honda Accord tires are close to wearing out. After 62k miles on Michelin MXV4 I need new tires soon. I shopped around 4 tire shops and came across different tires. Some shops were notoriously high like $750-800 for similar tires below.

$526 Michelin MXV4 primacy - 60k miles
$530 Bridgestone Turanza Serenity - 70k miles
$465 Firestone Affinity Touriung - 70k miles
$540 GoodYear Assurance ComforTred - 80k miles

Any suggestions if I should stick with the Michelin or try some of the other ones?

Thanks

Dan

Stick with Michellins or go for the Turanzas.

The Primacy and the Serenity are always competing for the top spot on our survey results and tests. With the $ 70 rebate currently the Primacy is tough to beat

I think you should go with Dunlop drz 101. To me these tires have a long thread water and can be a great performance tire too. I got mine from discounttires.com . They have really great price!

My 2007 Accord v6 came with Michelins. I hated those tires. They were noisy and slippery and completely worn out at 60,000 miles. I replaced them with a set of Continental DWS 215-50 17 inch tires. They are quiet, good in snow and rain, handle nicely, and have run 74,000 miles with a few more to go. Discount Tires Direct has them online at a good price.
