A1000 with 850cc injectors?
My goal is to make right around 500 wheel horse power on e85.
With my current setup I was going to use a walbro 255 with my 850 injectors, but that wasn't enough.
So I am thinking about an a1000 fuel pump, and still keeping my 850 injectors, with -6AN lines. Will this combo still make 500 wheel HP?
Also, will I have to do an -6AN return line with the a1000?
Any suggestions on a better setup?
Thanks.

Sanman that 650 was on gasoline, right?
When I switched to E85 I ran out of injector at 450whp with ID1000s. Two Walbro 255's cranked to 65psi base + 25psi.

LOL, Ideal Conditions right?
I can't talk I made 644 on an a1000 and RC1200's Duty cycle was at 100% at 6500RPM
To answer the question. I would not buy an A1000 pump for anything. I would do twin 044's or a 255 feeding an 044. (Had an A1000 for years, It never failed but it sure sounded like it was going to fail in the near future)
I ran out of injector (880) on Gas at 500whp before. Getting there with E-85 your going to need a base for like 70-80. Again far from ideal!

ideal is within the tuner and owner since they are the oens that make the decision.
now we need to remember that we are not at 100% duty all the time, and it will last like you said i used mine for 4 years this way and its still on the shelf in working order.
one pump fails it shut the motor down
2 pumps and one fails you go lean and lose an engine
