Info:
Clean title in hand, I'm the second owner and I personally knew the first owner (worked for her in NH and I purchased the car from her when she bought a Mazda2 after having her first child). The original owner was an accountant and she kept all the maintenance records for the car. I've continued that tradition and can provide receipts during the time that I owned the car as well. I even have the original sales brochure to accompany the owner's manual.
Oil has been changed every 3500 miles with Castrol Full-Synthetic oil with an OEM Honda/Acura oil filter. It was washed/waxed/vacuumed regularly, maintained and loved at every opportunity. I still average about 29mpg on long trips. As with any high-mileage H22 Honda engine you should check the oil regularly.
This car has some rust in the rear wheel wells like many other aging Hondas on the road today, along with rust along the bottom of the driver's door. It has very few scratches/dents, unlike most other Hondas on the road, however, with some scratching on both corners of the rear bumper. PA inspection valid through 10/2012. Tires still have good tread all around, front brakes have plenty of life and the rear pads/rotors are being replaced the weekend of March 17th. I can provide a clean CarFax from when I purchased the car at 149k miles. The interior is in fantastic condition, you'd think it had 10k miles on it! Only the driver's floor mat is included.
Features:
A/C, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Steering, Remote Keyless Entry, Bucket Seats, Driver and Passenger Airbags, Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS), In-dash CD Player, Power Windows, Rear Window Defroster, Alloy Wheels and Power Moonroof
Additional Info:
I've done a few modifications to the car to increase the car's "fun" factor while also helping increase gas mileage and performance:
- iPod interface (integrates with factory stereo system)
- Tein Basis coilovers (improves handling and looks), alignment performed after installation
- K&N filter (slight increase in power and gas mileage)
- Energy Suspension Motor mount inserts (firmer feel; less engine movement)
- Competition Clutch Lightweight Steel Flywheel (increases throttle sensitivity, reduces drivetrain losses)
Replaced within the past year:
- Cam seal (only on intake cam, there is no exhaust cam seal)
- K&N air filter
- Bosch Icon wiper blades
- Bosch primary/upstream Oxygen Sensor
- Battery
- Clutch (original clutch had over 160k miles; it was used as a commuter car and wasn't abused)
Aside from regular oil changes, coolant flushes, alignments and tire rotations, for which the previous owner gave me receipts for, I also have receipts for these repairs:
- 77,404 miles - radiator cap replaced with OEM Honda part
- 89,761 miles - swaybar endlinks replaced with OEM Honda parts (they were noisy)
- 94,182 miles - radiator replaced along with Honda coolant (flush/fill)
- 109,948 miles - timing belt and serpentine belt, spark plugs, water pump replaced
- 120,703 miles - front brake rotors/pads replaced
- 141,233 miles - rear brake rotors/pads replaced along with rear driver's side caliper (seized)
