I have a 1991 civic hatch and want to lower the seat height. When I ride now my head almost hits the headliner and Im only 5'10.

Is there something I can do to lower the seat mounting point or am I just stuck? Thanks for any help...

 

Thats odd... stock seats? i got crx seats in my 91' hatch and i've got a long way to the roof.. and im like 5'10 aswell

 

yup, crx seats sit lower, so do del sol seats

 

aha, had no idea about that i thought they were pretty much the same as the civic seats

 

Del sols are real nice and low for us taller guys I'm 6'1" and I ran both with del sols being the most comfy only downfall is price and they kinda don't flow with the interior.

 

i'm 5'11 and had no problems. im my sedan i can even put my helmet on and have no clearance issues. but del sol seats will put you on the floor. loved mine

they're not that bad. granted they don't quite match the interior, but it's best to get a set who's strip matches your car
