my 2002 accord ex jerks when going to first gear but shifts fine after that

After driving the car for about half an hr the car tends to hesitate at stop signs or red lights.... then when pulling the car to 1st gear it jerks and then after everything is fine but it always jerks going into 1st gear... why is that... and how can I fix it...

Have you flushed transmission fluid? Possibly 1st clutch pressure problem, check ball stuck, or foreign material in seperator plate orifice. (Per FSM)
