is my clutch going?
How can I tell if my clutch is going? One day I got in my car and the pedal was a little hard. And when I drive it useto engage about halt way
Now the pedal is like almost all the way up to engage. Does that mean my clutch is almost out? There's no slippage so i dunno...

Generally the test for a 'bad' clutch (disk) is:
Find a safe spot with some space - like a parking lot.
Set the parking brake.
Put the car in a high gear - 4th or 5th.
Rev the engine to 2,000 rpm and 'dump' the clutch.
The engine should stall immediately. If it revs down and stalls in a second or 2, your clutch is on the way out. If you can actually rev the engine and keep it from stalling after you released the pedal - it's time for a new clutch.
Yours sounds more like a problem with the hydraulics. Any signs of leakage?

My clutch is definetly gone yesterday when I went to get.on the highway when I sped up all it did was slip like a ****. After I got off and drove in the street it was slipping.g all over the place, I had to baby the gas pedal to actually get the car going. Oh well. I wish I could wait to get a good clutch and flywheel but I really can't be without a car so I gotta put an autozone clutch =/. This would have been a perfect time to install something waaaay better.but oh well...
