I haven't had a whole lot of time to open it up and look around but I wanted to see if anyone has had this issue before.


My car will blow cold air when it's set all the way cold and hot air when it's set all the way hot. But if I try anything in between it will just blow whatever I had it on previously. So if I had it blowing cold and switch it to middle it will keep blowing cold, if I had it on hot, switch it to middle setting it will keep blowing hot air.

Do you guys think it might just be my climate control module?


This is on a 2000 hatch btw.

The cables or whatever controls the movement might be loose and only be about to stay open or closed and not in between. You have to get in there and look.

 

After living with it for a while it's pretty annoying in the winter now. Mine is a 2000 so it has the electronic climate control. I still cannot get this thing to blow warm air. PITA. Anyone?
