the crx cranks but wont start with the key , if i pop start it ,it turns on and runs fine.

Might wanna go into alittle more detail than just that. From your description it could be a lot of things but the first two that come to mind is a bad main relay or ignition switch.

 

thanks for replying it has a brand new battery, new main relay, i all so noticed that it only clicks ones only when you turn the key on the on position.

 

Plugs, wires, cap, rotor? Have you checked over the ignition system? How about the battery? Have you had it tested? Can you hear the fuel pump priming when you click to "on?"

 

all is new, except the fuel pump it was running after i changed it for two weeks.
i know the pump works cause i can push start it and it runs fine.90civic-ZC said it could be the igniton switch how can i test this

 

Bad ignition switch problems are the dummy lights wont click on when the key is in the second position, they'll flicker on and off if you wiggle the key, the car wont start or you have to wiggle the key around a bit for it to make a connection, the car will only stay on if held at a certain way on the third key position.

 

check your f/a/s when your cranking it, which one are you missing.........there is your problem
