Favorite tires?
So, my sol needs tires. Despratley. It has 15s on it right now with mix and matched tires, which are almost bald. I'm going back to stock 14s, but I need advice on tires. Looking for something maybe 40 or 50k miles, good grip and decent snow traction, and i'd like to stay under $100 if I could. Suggestions?
I'm not going to be driving it daily on snow, that would be a dumb idea in a sol. I may need to go somewhere now or then in a pinch though, and would rather not wrap my car around a pole
So i need decent snow traction.
I've been reading good stuff about the Michelin Pilot Exalto, but there pretty expensive for my budget. Anything comparable for a less price?
I have looked at the Falken Ziex ZE-512s and the tire shop I called had some Multi Mile Mirada Sport GTX tires. My cousin has the Falkens, but anyone have experience with the multi-miles?

General Altimax HP. $280 for all 4 + shipping. I have them on my 98 EX right now. Love them. They are good all around. Dry/Wet/Snow. Long tread life as well. Quiet ride.

The Falken Ziex ZE-512s are decent tires but there are many different tires out there that would handle a littler better without breaking your budget. The Riken Raptor HR tires are a good set of tires for both snow and warm weather and the good thing about it at simple tire their only $75.77 dollars per tire.
