why did you have to post this up now?! i have a set of 16x8 +38 in my garage waiting to be put on, but i'm still deciding which tires to go with. did you have to roll the fenders on 215/45/16 tires? what suspension setup are you running?

 

yah I pulled the fronts and rolled the rears a little basically just folded the lip in I'm also running 5mm spacers because I was rubbing a little on the inside of the wells. I'm running gc/koni's and the skunk 2 camber kit in the front and the blox one in the rear.

 

Interested in some 15x7 +38 Kosei k1?

 

Tempting but I want to buy a set of 949s in 15x8 going more aggressive.

 

running 3mm spacers** Probably not needed if the wheels go on a car with a little stiffer suspension. His rubbing was due to soft old lowering springs on a previous setup.

Tell me about it.. i sold my 15x7 rpf1's trying to get a set, but they're back ordered till May or June.

 

eh2_erik I have 15x7 Enkies with brand new tires maybe 20miles on them (drove to the shop and back) Possibly we could work out a three way trade. I want 16x7 to clear a big brake kit.

That sux I was looking for those rims and couldn't find them for sale anywhere. I even when to Discount Tire where they told me they got discontinued in that size and bolt patter. Instead I bought me a set of 15 inch Tracklites. Wish I could of seen this sooner.

Was rolling the fenders needed or just done as a precaution? Im not quite as low as you but am interested.

 

I rolled his front fenders mainly because of how bad his suspension was. These wheels should fit a stock teg in the front without issue. Rubbing would depend on your springs/height etc. Only roll his front fenders have are the metal tabs for the fender liner being flat, instead of sticking out towards the tire. nothing crazy.

 

Ok so these should fit on my mildly dropped (itr/yellows) EM1 with no problem then.

 

definitely on itr springs, pretty much stock diameter as well.
