Icon2 REAR DISC CONV ?

Ive searched this and still can't find an answer. I have rear disc swap from a 92 integra. I know you suppose to use the ones from a 94-01 but i got these for a steal. $60 for both cables included. Is there anyway I can use these on my 91 ef dx 4dr hatch? If so what do I need to do to them to make them work? (cut my trailing arms and weld to the tegs?

The differential rear brake conversion can cause people a lot of headache I for one can lighten your day by telling you that the equipment you have in your hands is the right equipment for the job. The other preception is that going to a trim that wasn't suppose to be just give a piece of evidence that one think it were grand'er to give quality over matter the rubber feeling of new sensation.

I used 92-93 Integra rear trailing arms and brakes on my hatch. No problem with install or alignment but I've read that it adds a little bit more track width over stock.

90-93 Integra rear disks are what you want, I used the rta with rear disks, 40/40 prop valve, and cables from a 91 4dr Integra on my 90 EX 4dr and it works perfect

Eveb though i regret the added weight of the conversion, it works ok, no better than stock though. I used a 93 teg rear setup

Agreed.
90-93 integra rear discs are the most ideal because it does not add track width. 94-01 integra adds .25" width on each side, but they still work fine.

You might have issues with your e-brake cables though. Do some searching and make sure you have the right length cables before you start. Having no e-brake after a disc swap gets old real quick. I know from experience.

Things to check before you swap those onto your car:
Does it need brake rotors or pads?
Condition of wheel bearings?
Condition of soft brake lines?
Condition of trailing arm bushing?
Replacing any of those is easier while the trailing arm is off the car.

Are you doing this to a four door or a hatch or wagon?

I used eg6 si-r rear disks on my ed9. Alignment was a little off, but still within specs. The brake cables hung a little bit, but not enough to drag or catch on anything.

Well I've already said where I got mine from. Bought it from Hmotorsonline. Had it for about 6 years.only thing I changed was the MC because the then 16 year one had failed. And I swapped it out for a 91 civic ex one.

Really? Is it too hard to just read up on the threads on here or google it? It's not rocket science, it's just a rear disc brake conversion.

Disks work of coarse, just no better than the drums..i mean the rear brake only do 25% of the braking anyway, so don't expect anything
