Does anyone know why the rear speacker overs have plastic film on the inside? I installed new speakers in there yesterday and noticed it....I was tempted to remove thee film. Its for a 90SI BTW.

it there to block moisture and air to pass thru the cover when there is no speaker.

its meant to be removed when you are using a rear speaker, as now that area is sealed.
