Hello I have a 89 crx with a d15b2 tranny with a cable cluch can I use at tranny with a d16z6 motor I thought all d series were interchangeable but just checking before I rebuilt my b2 bottom end

 

yes there interchangeable, unless its a hydro.

 

Obviously a D16Z6 is a hydro transmission...

It will physically bolt up, just use all the clutch components from the transmission. You will need a cable to hyrdo clutch conversion. There are MANY brands and styles available.

 

Oh yes obviously, Just wanted to tell him that any d-series is interchangeable but thanks for the input.

 

The cable clutch trans will bolt up to the z6. Just remember to match the clutch with the trans.
