Damn.....didn't even notice that part in his discription. KingVem is right. Solid light means something is wrong with the ECU. Maybe checked for fried soldered areas......Dont know what else to tell you besides to get another ECU.

Even though the ecu is bad. Shouldn't it still crank. And do u think that should solve the dash light problem

Ok I'll double check Tom. Now the starter itself. I'm getting power at the signal wire terminal on the starter when the key is on. This is a brand new starter

Are you checking the signal wire for voltage when the key is turned to the third position?

I had same problem last night... ended up being the starter... put your car in neutral and then touch a wire from positive on the battery and then touch positiove on the starter if nothing happens then the starter is bad... smack that sucker with something then try and start with your key... if you get it to crank at all then the starter is bad. If not then fuse... ecu light staying on could just be its not grounded properly... if you were messing with it there is a chance you could have pulled a wire out of the back of the connectors or juse loosened it.

My buddy's GSR swapped CRX he just bought is doing the same thing.

It had a button not hooked up to anything already installed in a dash panel so we ran a hotwire to the starter terminal for now until he gets another harness, his is pretty hacked.
