90 honda accord transmissiong filter
where is it located. im going to be dropping it to put new converter on it. i might as well change it. i know its inside the tranny i just need a diagram or someone to tell me where it is
"not serviceable"
just do a drain and refill. If it helps you sleep better there are add-on filters for one of the trans cooler lines. Transmission suppliers/re-builders will require a shop to install one of these add-ons otherwise they won't warranty it. I suspect that means they work.
but, to answer your question it's inside the case. you must open up the case completely... may as well do a full rebuild at that point. A simple (even complex) diagram won't do if you're planning on this and don't know how already. pick up a factory service manual and follow it to the letter, or don't bother.
