I'm looking to buy a strange rear spindle mount kit made by strange but will not come with the struts........I'm sure a local fabricator can do something that will work....Any ideas? Pics of your current spindle mount kit?

I think (if my memory serves) that the multi-link suspension design is completely scrapped in favor of a strut.

Why don't you ask Strange what they recommend doing? I can never understand these kinds of questions being asked in a forum when a quick call to the manufacturer/vendor could clear all this up! Or take something like the above picture TO a fabricator and ask?

When I needed something fabbed I didn't waste time asking a bunch of strangers in a forum for pictures. I went to the place and had them make it for me.

 

Because drag car.
Some of them even run a dead axle.

 

Strange might not be that helpful -- he wants to fab a system that will let him use another brand of shock on a Strange rear spindle. They'd probably just tell him to buy their shocks or to contact a fabricator.

This way he could educate himself about possible solutions before talking to someone -- see what works and what doesn't. It seems reasonable to ask how other people use this unusual kit. Besides, it's not like JJsMotorsports is some random noob...

 

Is it common practice to buy this kit and NOT get the shocks? Is that an option?

 

 

If i call the manufacturer they will Not help me on this type of app because its not made for rear of car's! This is something that has to be Fabbed up!

This would be a custom app for drag cars trying to save weight......
