Any input on Koni sport struts with skunk2 springs, Whos got this setup?
Just recently found out my front struts are blown, Did some research on skunk2 sport struts and looks like their not for slammed rides so those fall off the list. Koni yellow sport struts seem to have good reviews for slammed cars so i just want some input from people with this setup? Koni struts, S2 springs.
Why not just go ahead and get the koni/gc setup and sell your skunk2 stuff?
But if you really wish to use junk2 springs, go for it!

Konis are not that expensive, and piecing together a makeshift something right now will not be in your favor in the long run. I suggest you wait and buy a complete kit so that everything matches and works the way it's supposed to.
What has being cheap gotten you so far? Where you are.

I bought it slammed, already changed the bearings, i can't just drive it with blown shocks. Once again all i was asking if KONI sports where a fine setup with skunk2 springs, and if there's people out there with this setup?
I suggest you raise the car up some so as to not experience the same issues in the future. Konis are great, but even they can blow. And no, the warranty won't cover it.
"People," have ran almost every shock/spring combination you can imagine. They are all almost universally interchangeable. Most springs and coil sleeves are designed to work with OE style shocks, and most OE style shocks are designed to work with OEM springs.
It's a mutual two-way street.
He won't be able to use the skunk2 coilover correctly without the cir clip adapter from Koni.
It will VOID the warranty.
You should have said you skunk2 coilovers, and lowering springs in the first post.
And Yes you can drive in on blown shocks. Ask me how I know.
