Is it even possible to lower the car 3"? I know that the handling will be ruined after 1.5". You need a camber kit if you care about handling, if not, a regular alignment will be enough.

^^^ It is definitely possible to lower 3". Haven't you seen all of the slammed pictures of FA5's and FG2's? I would say it's not recommended, but you can do it if you want.

The big thing will be your toe and camber in the back will be way off. You will need a camber kit for the rear. The ones I recommend are the full upper camber arm that can be adjusted while on the car. I have the SPC v2.

For the front, there won't be as drastic of a change due to the strut setup, but you'll probably still need it to be adjusted since you're going so much lower than stock.

I've seen the pics, but I don't know if 3" is very common. My '08 Si was lowered just over an inch, and the tires were even with the fenders and quarter panels. Another 1.5+", and it seems like the front struts would be sitting on the axles.
